it's raining and i want to make movies.
small movies. i don't think i have an epic in me at all. small little perfect movies about small things that are quirky and weird. i want to make movies that are concerned with little things.
i have an idea. it's something that happened to someone i know and it would be pretty much perfect. i think he's going to let me do it and i can't wait. i'm not sure i'm ready yet but i'm working on it. i'll get there eventually.
i want to make movies that i can create randomly odd soundtracks for. soundtracks that you want to listen to the minute after you finish seeing the movie. with random artists that i really like.
i don't think i want to do anything more than i want to do this. at least right now, it is raining after all. |

i just finished reading harry potter, less than a day after i bought it. all i can say is this.

so, tonight, at midnight, something very special happens.
harry potter and the deathly hallows comes out. and, unlike the last few books where i had to wait months and months for my mother/sister/father to finish reading it, this time i've purchased my own copy! aaaaaaand it was from the borders and they are having a midnight come-get-your-book-and-hang-out-and-don't-act-like-you're-too-cool-to-be-here-with-kids party thing.
which reminds me that i was supposed to go to a similar event a few years ago and couldn't. this one won't be as awesome as that one would have been but i'm still super stoked.
you know, i hope i never get too grown up to think this is cool. that would be so sad. |
